A message from the founder, Filippo Pellegrino
I started Modern Migration Australia in 2012 following successful careers in a range of sectors as including Domestic and International Education as well as living in Europe and Asia. Migration was then the perfect fit. Having been heavily influenced by the notion of the relationships, my goal was to create a boutique firm specialising in Business and Investment and Family Visas. With a strong will and moral compass, we have extended into Protection Visas and Appeals. I’m personally proud of our team and the many successes we’ve had over the years and look forward to a future in an ever diversified and multicultural Australian Society.

Filippo Pellegrino
Director & Senior Migration Agent
Founder of Modern Migration Australia in 2012, Fillipo spent many years following successful careers in a range of sectors as including Domestic and International Education as well as living in Europe and Asia. Filippo is passionate about people and even more, helping people.
Paul Nitschke
Specialist Migration Consultant
Paul joined our team in 2016 and is a Registered Migration Agent. Paul has worked as a Lawyer in both the public and private sectors, including as a Prosecutor for federal government agencies and in private practice at law firms. He specialises in advising clients who are seeking an independent merits review at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) following a visa refusal or cancellation.
Karen Nguyen
Client Services Manager
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, Perth WA in 2016. Karen has worked at Modern Migration Australia since 2017 and lead the Client Care Team in assisting clients with enquiries relating to the visa processes, our services and also supports our senior migration agents in preparing the documentation for visa applications.
